Hello!

I am a professional math tutor with nearly four decades of experience. With a passion for making math accessible and enjoyable, I offer personalized one-on-one tutoring for fifth-grade students through AP PreCalculus, tailored to each student’s needs. I can assess where a student is struggling and fill in any gaps while helping to push them forward with current material.

Math Medic was created after realizing a significant need for experienced math tutors in Moore County. I aim to help students by alleviating the anxiety that often comes with math while helping them overcome some of their greatest hurdles. In addition to nearly four decades of teaching math at high schools, community colleges, and universities in North Carolina and Virginia, I hold a BS in Statistics, an MS in Applied Math, and an MEd in Math Education.
